New Work Notice
Over this passed weekend, two new pieces have been uploaded to Digital Kevoh. I had helped a friend and local musician create artwork for both his upcoming single "Go Go Go", as well as artwork for his new album coming out towards the end of the month called "Project Exodus". Both albums are up under the graphic design section on DigitalKevoh.com. Check them out!
Also feel free to check out Gray Cardi, a local rapper at either www.GrayCardi.com or Facebook.com/GrayCardi.

Back to Classes -- 4.05.2011
Classes have started once again and I have a 4 course term. I currently have all four classes up under a brand new section on here, and will be updating them upon having free time or if it is required for class, which it is for Digital Compositing. A few updates will be coming to the Digital Kevoh website as well once I finish two of my projects for this coming week.

End of Co-op at Dive VFX -- 3.25.2011
Today marks the end of my 6 month internship at Dive VFX. It’s sort of a bitter-sweet kind of feeling at the moment. I’m a bit excited to get back to classes and doing some 3D work, but I’ve also enjoyed my time here as well. I had a great experience at Dive, and although I didn’t quite work on anything in regards to “production” like I do at Drexel, I definitely learned a good deal of stuff regarding post-production and editing. Just kind of soaking things in really does allow you to almost open your eyes to the industry, and I think I’ll be taking quite a bit out of this opportunity that was given to me. I was able to see first hand how, for example, problems can arise even in daily tasks while working on a show or project. Communication or problems with the client might develop, which can cause issues with your scheduled workflow. I didn’t quite realize how much time is spent in post-production until working here. I’ll also definitely be trying to keep in touch with some of the people I met during my co-op, and who knows, maybe I’ll be back there in the future.
Onto all-nighters and demanding classes!

3d/2d Pages Update -- 3.14.2011
The 3D Animation page is complete, as are the individual pages for now. Descriptions and information about each video have been posted, and may be added to later, but attention will be placed elsewhere until the site is finished.
The 2D Animation page is now under construction. The structuring of the pages should be done within an hour or two, and hopefully work will be uploaded by the end of the day. If not, then definitely by tomorrow.

3D Animation Videos Added -- 3.11.2011
After a bit of research trying to find a video player to use to display my animations, I came across FlowPlayer (http://flowplayer.org/). It was a bit confusing as they have a media builder right on their site; however, it seems to be in beta and really does not work. Eventually I got the correct files onto my laptop and got it all implemented, it was really easy to get the videos to display properly.
So far, I’d recommend it to any of my DIGM friends if they need a video player for their portfolio sites. It’s a bit more professional looking than plugging in a YouTube video on your site, in my opinion.

Site Update -- 3.09.2011
I’ve been a bit busy with work at DIVE and some personal things, but I’ve recently added a drop down menu for what will be my animation pages. Links are currently working, although content on those pages is not correct on each page. Hopefully by tonight/tomorrow that should all be fixed, as well as the addition of embedded animations for both 3D and 2D animation. I hope to begin adding content on my Models page by the beginning of next week.
Graphic Design Page Finished -- 3.07.2011
The Graphic Design page is FINISHED! Well, the content at least. I’m unsure of what I could add as an addition on the sidebar, but the body of work is done. All graphic design work that I could find from the past is lightbox’d up and working.
On to another page!

Graphic Design Page Updated -- 3.06.2011
So today I worked a bit on adding more work to my Graphic Design page on the main site. It was quite lengthy in terms of getting stuff done. I had many signatures and the sort scattered over 2 PC’s and 4-5 jump drives. Some of these I, myself, haven’t even seen in quite some time. I had to bring most into photoshop in order to kick out some thumbnails and for some re-sizing. Once that was done, it only took me about 5 minutes to implement into the page and upload everything to my web host.
I’ll probably be adding another section or two on that site over the course of tonight and tomorrow, but I hope to start working on a new page soon!

Welcome -- 3.04.2011
Welcome to my blog. I will be using this blog to give you guys (and girls!) a bit of a look inside my life as a 3d Artist by giving you updates and a few glances at work that I am working on over the duration of each work period. I may upload things like screenshots or small videos to sort of give you an idea on how a project comes full circle. Enjoy!
